Equal means equal per person. In a weighted split, the shared portion is allocated by people and the remaining amount by room weight. Cents are allocated by largest remainder, with ties going to the earlier room/person, so every displayed share adds up to the entered rent. Changing this estimate does not change your rental agreement or anyone’s legal obligations.
