MANAGING A TENANCY

Understand landlord Next Steps

See why a read-only dashboard prompt appears and check the record behind it.

Before you begin

These instructions apply to authorised existing users when the workflow is enabled. Public customer sign-up and sign-in are currently paused. A help page does not grant account or record access.

The panel reads the existing provider tenancy summaries you are authorised to see. It covers handover and report warnings, recorded term review, commencement processing and ending work. More detailed repair, rent and visit actions remain inside each tenancy.

What to do

  1. Read the prompt’s reason and source record. Check the displayed date label: a recorded return date, commencement or term boundary is not a newly calculated legal deadline.
  2. Choose the product action to open the current tenancy or linked report. Use the accompanying article if you need the workflow explained.
  3. After completing work in that record, refresh the panel. Check any remaining uncertainty in the full tenancy workspace.

Expected result

You can decide what to review next. A missing record is labelled for review, not automatically overdue. The panel uses existing warnings and local tenancy date projections; it does not change lifecycle or records.

Limitations and recovery

No prompts does not certify compliance. The summary covers at most the existing collection’s 200 current tenancies and is not a complete obligations register. Background activation and delivery may be paused. Refresh failures clear displayed items and offer a retry. There is no snooze or dismissal in this version, so a prompt cannot silently hide authoritative evidence. No email, SMS, notices or payments are initiated.
