ACCOUNT & ACCESS
Email confirmation and sign-in verification
Understand account email checks, optional sign-in codes and separately gated invited access.
Before you begin
These instructions apply to authorised existing users when the workflow is enabled. Public customer sign-up and sign-in are currently paused. A help page does not grant account or record access.
Account email confirmation checks access to an inbox. Enabled customer accounts use password sign-in, with optional email-code verification. These checks do not independently establish a tenant’s suitability or verify every identity claim. Authenticator apps are retired; do not look for device enrolment controls.
What to do
- Follow the account email confirmation instructions in the browser that began the request.
- In Settings, review Account security. To enable or disable email sign-in verification, enter your current password and complete the newest email code. The preference changes only after the check succeeds.
- When a sign-in requests an email code, use the newest six-digit code. Use its resend or cancel/start-again controls if needed.
- On a shared or lost device, review the browser-persistence preference and use Sign out everywhere from an authorised session where appropriate.
Expected result and limits
The security checklist shows the current protections. A mailbox code is a product sign-in check, not an identity-verification badge. Guest invitations, when separately enabled, use their own email-code flow for a named invited task. They do not create a public account or grant general workspace access; a protected customer account can require normal account sign-in instead.
If a check fails
Check the inbox and spam folder, and use the newest code. If the challenge expired or was already used, restart the displayed flow rather than reuse an old code. An uncertain settings change should be checked by reloading Account security. Contact RentSeekr if the account email is inaccessible. SMS, authenticator-device enrolment and identity-document verification are not available alternatives in this guide.
