ACCOUNT & ACCESS

Update your profile and security settings

Change your saved contact details, email or password using the existing Settings workflow.

Before you begin

These instructions apply to authorised existing users when the workflow is enabled. Public customer sign-up and sign-in are currently paused. A help page does not grant account or record access.

Open Settings while signed in. Wait for the account details to load before editing.

What to do

  1. Edit the displayed profile fields and choose Save details. Check the confirmation.
  2. To change email, enter the current password and new email, then follow the confirmation instructions shown for the inboxes.
  3. To change password, enter the current password and matching new values. Confirm the success state before signing out.

Expected result

Saved profile details are shown on refresh. Email changes can remain pending until their confirmation steps finish; requesting a change is not the same as completing it.

Limitations and recovery

A saved profile does not rewrite a signed agreement’s historical identity snapshot. Account deletion or deactivation options depend on retained rental and billing history. If Settings cannot load, use its retry control; edits remain unavailable until account access is checked. Billing controls may remain paused even when history is readable.

Security and profile presentation

Account security supports optional email-code sign-in verification, the remembered-browser preference and Sign out everywhere. A protection checklist describes the actual settings; it is not a security score. Confirm security changes with the current password/newest email code where requested.

Profile presentation lets you choose the supported colour/border and optional membership/property visibility preferences. A supported JPEG/PNG/WebP photo under 2 MB needs the displayed public-photo consent. Removing it restores initials. Membership age and profile preferences are not identity or trust verification, and cannot hide information required in a rental transaction.

Deactivation, retention and service preferences

Review the exact account action offered. An eligible empty account can have a deletion option; protected rental or billing history can instead require deactivation/retention. The confirmation explains the effect. Do not assume deactivation erases signed agreements, submitted evidence or another participant’s records.

Local service enquiry preferences belong to their own City workflow. Review contact-sharing and commercial-provider disclosures before sending an enquiry; changing a profile alone does not consent to sharing every detail.
