History, corrections and uncertain saves
Understand retained evidence and recover from a changed revision or unclear outcome.
Current view and history
A current record is a projection of the supported saved information. Events, versions and correction history retain earlier facts where the workflow supports them. Your visible history is limited by your record permissions; it is not every internal operation or a complete compliance audit.
Why an edit can be rejected
Several workflows check the revision you reviewed. If another action changed it, the app can reject the stale edit and ask you to refresh. This prevents an older page from silently replacing a newer record.
A safe recovery sequence
After an unclear save or network error, reopen the same record first. Check its current state and latest visible event. Retry the existing action only if the workflow offers it and the intended change has not already been recorded. Use correction notes rather than inventing a replacement original event.
Typical recovery paths
The displayed action and source remain authoritative for the particular record.
| Problem | Safe sequence |
|---|---|
| Unknown upload/send/save outcome | Read the existing record/history; then retry only the unconfirmed action. |
| Changed revision | Refresh, compare newer facts, review the intended change and submit against the current record. |
| Correction / withdrawal needed | Use the offered actor-specific path; retain the original evidence and a truthful reason. |
| Projection/review on hold | Open the changed source; a past event does not make a review current. |
| Download no longer works | Reopen the authorised record and request a fresh link. |
| Independent section refresh failed | Retry that section; do not conclude its records were deleted. |
Retained records
Account deactivation, ended access or an archived record need not delete evidence. Historical documents can remain retained under the applicable product policy. Contact RentSeekr for privacy access or correction questions; do not assume deleting a screen entry erases signed evidence.
Currentness and audit limits
A closure, charge review or case finding can capture a snapshot of the sources visible at that time. Later facts can make it historical or reopen review. Your event list excludes material outside your permitted audience and may not show every internal operation. It is not a complete legal audit, compliance certificate or guarantee that an external action occurred.
