Document versions and signed evidence
Distinguish a working draft, a sent proposal and an executed document.
Drafts and proposals
Editing a draft changes the working record. A generated review PDF reflects a particular draft revision. Sending the lease for review freezes the proposal version for the review and signing process; it is not a general permission to keep editing the same sent evidence.
Signatures follow the exact version
Required signatures apply to the current reviewed version. A replacement proposal can require fresh review and signatures. An executed document and its history remain evidence; changing profile details does not rewrite that document.
Condition report successors
Agreement or audience changes can require a successor condition report when the earlier report already has renter work or signature evidence. The successor is the current task; the earlier report remains history rather than being silently overwritten.
Document purpose and version
Check which document the task actually asks you to review.
| Document | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Working draft / preview | Preparation at a particular revision; not the final executed evidence. |
| Sent proposal | The version presented for the specified review/signature process. |
| Executed document | Retained evidence of the required signatures on that version. |
| Successor report | A new current task where the earlier report cannot be silently repurposed. |
| Original entry document for exit | The required original comparison/provision evidence, even if a successor exists. |
| Index metadata / current profile | Labels or current details; editing them does not rewrite a signed original. |
Check and recover
Before signing or downloading, check the record, purpose and version shown. If the document changed or a signature result is uncertain, refresh and inspect the tracker. Failed PDF processing is a runtime or operation state; a status label is not a substitute for the actual stored document.
Audience and provision are separate
A stored document can have a permitted audience without having been given to a named recipient. Provision, consent, receipt and response records have their own version/source requirements. A download, chat attachment or read marker does not certify formal service. Request a fresh authorised download when a private link expires; never put that link in a public search.
