Listing inspection bookings and tenancy entry records

Separate an inspection place from evidence supporting entry into an existing rented home.

Two separate inspection contexts

A listing inspection helps a prospect view an advertised rental. A tenancy visit is a record about entry into an existing rented home. A listing booking, message or calendar appointment is not a replacement for the applicable tenancy-entry evidence.

Listing attendee states

Read the session’s capacity, lifecycle and current response.

Listing attendee states
StateMeaning
InterestedInterest recorded; not necessarily a confirmed place.
RequestedA booking/request awaits the applicable response.
InvitedA private invitation awaits the recipient response.
ConfirmedA place is recorded for that session, subject to changes/cancellation.
Attended / no-showAttendance evidence was entered.
Cancelled / declined / expiredThat booking path is no longer a current confirmed appointment.

Listing session controls

Providers prepare the supported public/private session, date/time, capacity and invite/approval settings. Prospects use the session’s offered interest/request/accept/cancel controls. Capacity and current state can prevent confirmation. Returning to the session or Messages is the reliable way to review an updated place; a historical invitation card can be stale.

Tenancy entry and individual consent

Tenancy visit records retain the selected basis, notice/consent references, attendees, findings and follow-up. The supported workflow can hold an appointment when its entry authority changes. A person can have their own offered withdrawal/dispute response for recorded consent even when the underlying case is private; that response does not grant access to the private case.

Limits and recovery

Refresh the session after an unclear booking or a full/cancelled response before making another request. For a tenancy visit on hold, review its current source and offered action before attendance. Date fields, reported attendance and consent labels do not establish every legal requirement. Help calculates no notice period and does not authorise entry; use current official guidance or individual advice.
