MANAGING A TENANCY

Track repair progress and reimbursement evidence

Follow shared repair records and distinguish completion from a separate reimbursement or expense record.

Before you begin

These instructions apply to authorised existing users when the workflow is enabled. Public customer sign-up and sign-in are currently paused. A help page does not grant account or record access.

Open the correct tenancy repair. Check its current stage and access/entry information before relying on an appointment. Use the agreed urgent-repair contact and appropriate emergency services for immediate danger; the app is not an emergency response service.

What to do

  1. Review the request and the action offered to your role. Providers record assessed urgency, action, contractor/work details and the relevant appointment or actual-work evidence. Renters use their available response or dispute controls.
  2. If a visit is on hold, review its linked entry authority and record a current appointment through the supported workflow before attendance. A date in the request is not permission to enter.
  3. Record completion and the supporting factual details only when the work occurred. A renter response remains separate evidence.
  4. Where reimbursement follow-up is offered, the eligible claimant records their own expense and evidence. The current provider records the offered payment assertion; the recipient records their own actual receipt or dispute.

Expected result

The repair history shows saved progress and responses. Completing repair work does not automatically settle a reimbursement claim. Expense, payment assertion, recipient receipt and any external proceeding/outcome remain separate records.

Privacy and recovery

Reimbursement access is claimant/provider scoped; do not paste another household member’s private costs into shared repair notes. Changed evidence or an outdated appointment can require a new review. Refresh before retrying an uncertain action and correct the mistaken record through the offered path. Recording an amount or receipt does not transfer money or establish legal entitlement.
