MANAGING A TENANCY
Manage inspection bookings and tenancy visits
Keep listing inspections separate from recorded visits during a tenancy.
Before you begin
These instructions apply to authorised existing users when the workflow is enabled. Public customer sign-up and sign-in are currently paused. A help page does not grant account or record access.
Listing inspections concern a rental offer. Tenancy visit records concern an existing tenancy and its entry arrangements. Neither record alone establishes lawful entry.
What to do
- For a listing inspection, open Inspections and the relevant booking or session. Use the displayed booking, cancellation or attendance controls for your role.
- For a tenancy visit, open the tenancy’s rent and inspection records and review the visit, purpose and entry-authority state.
- Check the recorded date, timezone, access arrangements and current authority before arranging or attending the physical visit.
Expected result
The applicable booking or visit history reflects the saved action. A proposed time remains a proposal until the workflow’s required confirmations are recorded.
Limits and recovery
A cancelled session or held entry authority needs review in its own workflow. Do not enter because a dashboard link exists. If the booking changed while you were viewing it, refresh before making another change. Check current official jurisdiction guidance for entry requirements; this article does not calculate notice periods.
Booking requests, confirmation and preferences
A public session can accept an inspection booking where capacity and booking checks allow. A private inspection can start as an expression of interest or requested time; it becomes confirmed only through the displayed confirmation workflow. Review the current booking state rather than assuming a request reserves a place.
Use the offered cancellation and provider attendance controls when plans change. Cancelled/expired requests and sessions have their own history. Inspection preferences store your email-update preference, but do not guarantee an email, SMS or reminder is delivered while notifications remain held.
