PRODUCT DOCS

Notice documents, provision and recorded service evidence

Distinguish preparing a document, giving it to a person, recording receipt and reviewing legal service.

Document versus event

A notice/document stored in a case is one record. Provision/service details describe an action claimed to have occurred for a particular recipient and method. A recipient’s receipt/response is another record. Product checks can require the corresponding source, method and evidence without deciding every legal requirement.

Do not combine these facts

Each record has its own purpose and currentness.

Do not combine these facts
FactWhat it does not prove
Prepared or uploaded PDFIt does not prove the document was given to anyone.
Recorded sending/provisionIt does not itself prove valid service or recipient agreement.
Recipient receipt/readIt does not itself establish the required legal method or consent.
In-app update / email preferenceIt is not formal service of the document.
Reviewed source/methodIt is a recorded review of particular evidence; later changes can require review again.

Recipient-specific evidence

Use the actual named recipient and the supported method. Electronic provision can require its specific consent/evidence records; do not infer consent from an account email, connection request or chat read marker. Dates and references should come from the real document/event, not from a guessed deadline.

Changes, withdrawals and holds

A correction or withdrawal preserves the earlier record while affecting current findings. Changed notice content, recipient facts, consent or later directions can hold progression. Reopen the current case and source before relying on a historical record. A status colour does not authorise attendance, eviction, possession or another consequential action.

Limits and recovery

This help system sends no notice, contacts no tenant and calculates no statutory period. Use the displayed official-source signposts and obtain current advice for the circumstances. If a record save is uncertain, read its current history before retrying. Do not create a second notice merely to bypass a review hold or paste confidential notice text into public Help search.
