MANAGING A TENANCY
Review exit evidence and final settlement records
Follow ending records without combining agreement end, possession return, document handoff and financial closure.
Before you begin
These instructions apply to authorised existing users when the workflow is enabled. Public customer sign-up and sign-in are currently paused. A help page does not grant account or record access.
Open the existing tenancy and ending workflow. Review the source agreement/notice/outcome, recorded legal-end findings and actual possession facts. A saved “ending” or “ended” label is not a substitute for those records.
What to do
- Review the supported ending source and each required individual response. Use the offered evidence/correction path for changed findings instead of overwriting a historical original.
- Record actual possession return only when its facts and required evidence are available. The workflow distinguishes agreement end from returned possession.
- Review exit observations against the original entry document and its handoff/response records. Use the correct retained document rather than substituting a later successor for the original.
- Check remaining rent-period findings, refunds, bond receipts, expenses, goods and unresolved cases in their own sections. Providers use final closure review only where offered and record unresolved exclusions honestly.
Expected result
The tenancy preserves its independent ending, exit, money and closure evidence. Administrative closure records a reviewed snapshot; it does not discharge every obligation, decide liability, dispose of goods or prove financial settlement.
Holds and recovery
Changed source facts, contested responses, missing original-document evidence or unresolved money attribution can require further review. Reopen the source and follow the displayed hold before taking another action. Do not issue notices, change locks, dispose of goods or transfer money based on a Help article or dashboard prompt. Current legal requirements and external processes need current official guidance or individual advice.
