MANAGING A TENANCY

Review an ending tenancy and preserve its evidence

Use supported ending records without assuming a date or status ends legal obligations.

Before you begin

These instructions apply to authorised existing users when the workflow is enabled. Public customer sign-up and sign-in are currently paused. A help page does not grant account or record access.

Check the actual agreement, jurisdiction and circumstances with current official guidance or qualified advice. A fixed-term end date does not itself establish that the tenancy ended. The app records facts and review decisions; it does not issue or serve a notice through this help page.

What to do

  1. Open the tenancy and relevant ending workflow. Review its recorded reason, proposed dates, notices and service evidence.
  2. Arrange the physical handover and final inspection using the applicable process. Keep the original entry evidence and prescribed report requirements in view.
  3. Record supported responses, ending evidence and reviewed outcomes. Resolve any financial or closure review instead of treating a saved outcome as a clearance.

Expected result

The tenancy has an organised ending history. The supplementary exit record does not replace a prescribed condition report, decide a bond claim or establish legal possession. A recorded lifecycle end and legal-end evidence are distinct.

Limits and recovery

The product may hold a transition when evidence, revisions or authority need review. Refresh the record and use the displayed review pathway. Do not backdate missing events to clear a warning. Obtain advice for contested notices, deadlines or disputes. This guidance intentionally provides no statutory notice period or eligibility rule.
