AGREEMENTS & MOVE-IN
Record your side of the tenancy handover
Use the participant checklist without confusing saved ticks with commencement, legal compliance or another person’s work.
Before you begin
These instructions apply to authorised existing users when the workflow is enabled. Public customer sign-up and sign-in are currently paused. A help page does not grant account or record access.
Open the existing tenancy and Handover checklist. It is a practical provider-side or renter-side record. Participants on the same side can share these saved checklist entries. Review the current agreement, participants, commencement readiness and relevant documents separately.
What to do
- Check the labelled item against what actually happened, such as the supported key, document or urgent-contact item. A planned action should remain incomplete.
- Tick an item only when your side has completed it. Wait for the saved tenancy to return; each change saves through the existing control.
- If the completion entry is wrong, untick it through the same control and verify the refreshed record. Do not use another participant’s account to change their checklist.
- Review the condition report, actual receipt and commencement panel separately. Check urgent-repair contact details against your current arrangement rather than relying solely on a signed agreement’s historical contact snapshot.
Expected result
The refreshed checklist reflects the saved completion entries for your side and records the acting user. A tick does not establish that every participant received documents or completed the task. It does not change tenancy status or independently verify that a contact is current or the premises are compliant.
Missing items and recovery
A missing tick or date is an incomplete/unknown record, not automatically an overdue statutory obligation. A failed checkbox save restores its earlier visual state and shows an error; refresh the existing tenancy before retrying an uncertain result. The read-only Next Steps panel can suggest reviewing handover facts, but does not perform them or activate commencement.
