Calendar views, connections and private feeds
Understand inspection bookings, calendar permissions, time zones and the copies kept outside RentSeekr.
The calendar is a view of records
Inspection sessions, bookings and tenancy dates come from their own records. A calendar entry does not itself confirm entry permission, service of a notice or completion of the task. Check the source when you need to change a booking or date.
Choose the connection you need
Review the permissions shown by the provider before authorising access.
| Option | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Calendar view | Shows the dates your account can access in RentSeekr. |
| Google or Microsoft connection | Uses the approved account/calendar permissions for the selected availability or synchronisation workflow. |
| Download | Makes an external copy; later changes may need another download. |
| Subscription feed | Uses a private URL to read its authorised event scope until revoked. |
Time zones and changes
Check the displayed time zone, property location and daylight-saving offset before attending an inspection. A device preference changes presentation, not the source event. External calendars can refresh on their own schedule; read the current booking in RentSeekr if there is a discrepancy.
Disconnecting safely
Disconnect a provider or revoke a feed through the offered controls. Keep subscription URLs private. Revocation stops future access under that capability; it cannot remove downloaded events, forwarded links or information already copied into another calendar.
