Understand when Apply is available, how interest helps a provider, and which evidence belongs to an application.
The offer controls the next step
A room and a whole dwelling have their own rental offer. Read that offer’s application readiness card. Publishing an advert does not itself open applications. A finished setup for one room does not automatically finish every other room.
Readiness and your next action
The current offer and displayed action are the source of availability.

Providers: shared details and individual rooms
Prepare shared provider details, then review each advertised room’s rental arrangement and requests. Reusing another room’s details is a starting point: check rent, bond, address/room label, terms and disclosures for this offer. Save and use the completion screen or property workspace to continue the next unfinished room. Pausing new applications does not withdraw submitted records.
Renters: evidence alternatives and review
Read the allowed purposes and document choices for this application. A provider can accept alternatives; you do not need to upload every accepted option. Follow the displayed renter limits and stage restrictions, including the Victorian form’s financial and identity evidence rules where applicable. Use the offered alternative-document path when needed. Reusable details and a draft do not submit anything until you review and confirm.
